Overview
We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
This position is a casual position. This position will work 1 shift every other Saturday and other shifts as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Respond promptly to incidents, aiding as necessary.
- Enforce rules and AGLC regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
- Operate Casino Gift Shop as required
Qualifications
We are willing to train for this role.
- Previous experience in security is an asset.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems is an asset.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Cash handling experience an asset.
