We’re looking for a Field Service Refrigeration/Process Technician to join our team and play a key role in the maintenance and optimization of compression and process equipment that keep equipment running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
As our Refrigeration/Process Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing refrigeration and process systems critical to our operations.
· Monitor and assess system performance using various meters and diagnostic tools
· Regulate valves based on technical requirements and fill systems with the appropriate refrigerant by injecting the designated gas or fluid
· Inspect piping, fittings, and equipment for potential leaks
· Disassemble faulty systems and evaluate components for issues
· Replace or adjust damaged or worn parts and reassemble systems following repairs
· Carry out mechanical repairs, including refrigerant recovery and servicing
· Interpret technical documents such as schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
· Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, part replacements, and diagnostic findings
Must-haves
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with refrigeration systems (industrial, or process-focused)
· Strong mechanical aptitude with rotating equipment, valves, and compressors
· Willingness to work extended hours and adjust to changing schedules when needed
· A safety-first mindset and familiarity with safe work practices in field environments
· Willingness to Travel
· Journeyman ticket in mechanical trade
Nice-to-haves
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS)
