The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in delivering comprehensive HR support across employee relations, engagement, HR systems, and talent processes. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, supports a positive workplace culture, and ensures efficient and compliant HR operations. The position combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution to enhance the overall employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Employee Relations

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution

Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, including conducting fair, thorough investigations when required

Coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and effective employee communication

Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment legislation, mitigating organizational risk through proper documentation

Employee Engagement

Lead and support employee engagement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and overall employee experience

Design and implement programs that promote recognition, inclusion, well-being, retention, and morale

Partner with business leaders to assess workforce trends and recommend strategies to improve engagement and productivity

HRIS Management & HR Operations

Maintain, optimize, and support HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data and smooth lifecycle transactions

Manage onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations within HR systems

Generate, analyze, and report on key HR metrics to support business decisions

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and system enhancements

Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations, serving as a liaison with IT and system vendors

Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Offboarding

Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and documentation

Assist with onboarding activities, including company orientation
Support offboarding processes, including severance calculations, documentation, and exit interviews, and summarize feedback for follow-up

Administration

Facilitate the Employee Committee and support related initiatives

Create, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practices

Prepare reports on key HR metrics and workforce data

Prepare job grant applications and support HR projects and initiatives
