Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Rakerman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt raking and a strong understanding of paving processes. As an Asphalt Rakerman, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of asphalt surfaces, ensuring quality and durability in every project.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment used in asphalt paving and maintenance.
- Prepare and lay asphalt materials to create smooth, durable surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor the quality of materials and work performed, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in asphalt raking.
- Knowledge of paving techniques and best practices for asphalt application.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the job site.
- A valid driver's license
