Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress
- Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of developmental milestones and educational activities
- Utilize computer skills and classroom technology to enhance teaching methods and administrative tasks
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and time management
- Lead activities that promote social-emotional growth, creativity, and critical thinking
- Maintain professional development by staying current with early childhood education best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques
- Proficiency in English is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Proficiency in computer operation, including educational software and administrative tools
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide young learners
- Strong writing skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
