Smiles Of Canada is currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental clinic in Brandon Manitoba. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and patient-focused professional who is looking to start immediately.
Location: 457 9th St Suite 10A, Brandon, MB R7A 1K2
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and ensure a smooth flow of appointments
- Provide customer service that promotes comfort and trust for patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Support the dental team with sterilization procedures and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office setting is required
- Proficiency with oryx or other dental practice management software is required
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual skills is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to educate and comfort patients of all ages
- Background in dental assisting or familiarity with clinical procedures will be beneficial
