Starsky Fine Foods (2040 Dundas Street East) is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Deli Packer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Package and label a variety of deli products inside a refrigerated deli cooler
- Ensure products are packaged, weighed, and labeled accurately
- Maintain product quality and freshness standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with stocking and inventory as needed
- Occasionally serve and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable and willing to work in a cold environment for extended periods of time
- Must have open availability, including days, evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and move products as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous deli, packaging, or food handling experience is considered an asset, but not required
