McGuinness Coatings is an established and fast-growing pavement marking, line painting and removal company looking for a reliable employee to help with pavement markings/line painting operations.
Your job will be working with the paint crew in the following capacity:
- Drive and operate single axle attenuator truck (blocker / crash truck) for mobile line painting operations
- Setup and teardown of lane closures and traffic control operations as per OTM Book 7
- Perform flagging for single-lane traffic flow operations
- Assist with premarking, layout, and installation of pavement markings
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading of bulk materials on flat deck trucks
Important details pertaining to the industry and this company:
- Must be a team player and willing to work on short notice.
- Hours can sometimes be long, unpredictable, and consistent of day and night shift
- 75% of our jobs involve out of town travel. In these cases employees stay in hotels Monday to Friday but are home on weekends
- Ability to work in an efficient and SAFE manner on the roads is essential.
- Must be able to lift +50lbs
- Full DZ license, clean drivers abstract (both driving and CVOR), and reliable transportation is a must. Shop is in Port Perry.
- Must have minimum 3 years actual driving experience.
- Must provide CVOR drivers abstract and drivers abstract.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate an asset
- Mechanical abilities an asset
- OTM Book 7 training an asset
