institutional, and multi-residential sectors.

The Estimator develops service-related cost estimates and scopes of work, ensuring pricing
accuracy and alignment with operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for
candidates with field or mechanical experience to transition into estimating while maintaining a
strong connection to service operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare cost estimates for HVAC and plumbing repairs, asset renewal, and small
projects.
- Review service reports, deficiency lists, and site assessments to develop clear
scopes of work.
- Collaborate with technicians and suppliers to validate materials, labour, and
timelines.
- Maintain organized estimate files, pricing documentation, and supplier quotes.
- Support retrofit and modification project take-offs and pricing analysis.
- Assist with bids and tender submissions for service and capital projects.
- Participate in team meetings and workflow handoffs to align priorities and pipeline
activity.
- Contribute to process improvement and teamwork within estimating and operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating, field service, or related
coordination roles.
- Post-secondary education in mechanical, engineering, or estimating disciplines is
considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems and service-related work.
- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings is required.
