Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Advanced Foot Care
Casual / Part-Time Positions Available
C-K Quality Foot Care is seeking compassionate, professional, and motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) with Advanced Foot Care certification to join our growing team serving clients throughout the Chatham-Kent area.
This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to provide high-quality, client-centered foot care services in community settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing foot care assessments and treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized foot care plans based on client needs.
- Educate clients on preventative foot health, self-care, and risk reduction strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners to support optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to all professional standards, infection prevention and control practices, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RN or RPN.
- Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.
- Valid Advanced Foot Care Certificate from a recognized educational provider or willing to acquire.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and workload.
- Knowledge of community resources and services within Chatham-Kent is considered an asset.
- Physically capable of providing safe and effective client care.
- Membership with professional associations such as RNAO or WeRPN (formerly RPNAO)
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
