Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pest Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. As a Pest Technician, you will identify pest issues, implement treatment plans, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems.
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on each client's unique needs.
- Safely apply pesticides and other treatments by regulations and company protocols.
- Educate clients on prevention strategies and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, pest control methods, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; pest control certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Alberta applicators license an asset
- Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check
