The Gorge Vale Golf Club is looking to hire a part-time seasonal Line Cook. We are looking for team player with a passion for food and a positive disposition.
The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a close-knit team within a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role. A valid Food Safe certification and any culinary qualifications would be an asset.
Job Duties Include:
- Cooking on line as part of a team*
- Assisting the Head Chef in daily operations**
- Produce high quality food to specification**
- Monitoring stock levels & ensuring proper rotation to keep wastage to a minimum**
- Executing daily specials**
- Banquet preparation & execution**
- Upholding cleanliness and safety procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment*
