We are a growing company looking for an experienced Production Lead Hand to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and leading by example.
Position Summary
The Production Lead Hand will organize daily production activities, assist with training team members, ensure product quality, and work alongside the production team to meet daily production goals.
This is not an office position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building products and leading from the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities and assign work to team members.
- Work alongside the production team in assembly and manufacturing.
- Read production drawings and follow work instructions.
- Train new employees and promote safe work practices.
- Monitor product quality and ensure work meets company standards.
- Help improve workflow and production efficiency.
- Coordinate materials and communicate with management regarding production priorities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or woodworking experience.
- Previous experience as a Lead Hand, Team Lead, or Supervisor is an asset.
- Experience with woodworking, cabinet making, millwork, door manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate others.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Cabinet Manufacturing
- Millwork
- Woodworking
- Commercial Door Manufacturing
- Furniture Manufacturing
- Industrial Manufacturing

Compensation
