The Cake Lady is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with commercial driving, and the ability to help lift items. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring our products reach the events efficiently and in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport baked goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps
- Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, including heavy or bulky items requiring proper handling techniques.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with manager
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Experience
- Experienced Driving in Nova Scotia Weather
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.This role offers an opportunity for individuals who are organized, safety-conscious, and customer-focused to contribute significantly to our operations while developing their skills in logistics and transportation management.
