Reporting to the Marketing Director, Institutional, the Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of integrated marketing and communications initiatives for Manulife Investment Management’s Institutional business in North America.
You will play a key part in enabling day‑to‑day marketing delivery across digital, content, sales enablement, and events. The Marketing Coordinator partners closely with marketing managers, internal stakeholders, and agency partners to ensure projects move efficiently from intake to execution, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and adherence to governance processes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders across regions, asset classes, and seniority levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the timely execution of integrated marketing initiatives across owned, paid, and earned channels under the direction of marketing leadership.
Coordinate and manage marketing project intake, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring priorities are tracked and status updates are clearly communicated.
Maintain and update marketing collateral, including presentations, factsheets, and content housed on websites, SharePoint, and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Seismic).
Assist with content development and publishing workflows, coordinating input from multiple stakeholders and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support tier 1 events, sponsorships, and institutional meetings, including logistics coordination and marketing deliverables.
Contribute to marketing performance reporting, including basic analysis and reporting on digital campaigns and engagement metrics.
Oversee and maintain team initiative and project lists, supporting efficient workload management and prioritization.
Support administrative tasks, including website updates, approvals coordination, and records management in line with governance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Post‑secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
1–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or related role.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to edit and package content clearly and accurately.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and content management systems.
Basic design sensibility and comfort working with creative assets; experience supporting agencies or internal design teams is a plus.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive, able to work independently while taking direction well.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and seniority levels.
Comfortable operating in a regulated, governance‑driven environment, with attention to accuracy and process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within investment management or institutional financial services is an asset; exposure to private markets is a plus.
Familiarity with Seismic, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), analytics dashboards (e.g., DOMO), or similar tools is an asset.
