Our company is looking for a passionate and dynamic Punch Press Set Up/Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
· Set Up and Operate Punch Press Machine
· Chart machine performance and administer routine checks/maintenance as required
· Ensuring projects are implemented/completed according to production schedule
· Perform all dimensional inspections for ‘first off’ parts.
· Plan sequence of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances
· Select proper programs/tooling for all Setups; tool maintenance
· Preparing raw materials for production
· Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Our ideal candidate will have:
· 5+ years set up/operator experience
· Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
· Knowledge of Prima Power machines an asset
· CNC / AutoCAD experience (desired but not necessary)
· Metal fabrication experience
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
