Forklift & Reach Truck Driver – Cold Storage Warehouse

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Turret, Forklift, and Reach Truck Drivers to support warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled food storage environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and movement of food products using forklifts and reach trucks while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate turret trucks, counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
· Load, unload, move, stack, and retrieve palletized products.
· Work at heights using reach trucks to place and remove inventory from racking.
· Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.
· Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
· Receive inbound shipments and verify product accuracy.
· Maintain accurate inventory placement and rotation (FIFO/FEFO),
· Scan products using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
· Work in cold and freezer environments (approximately 2°C to -10°C).
· Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety guidelines.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
· Properly handle frozen, refrigerated, and dry food products.
· Follow all health and safety policies, including PPE requirements.
· Adhere to company and regulatory standards.
· Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
· Support a culture of safety and teamwork.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Valid forklift and reach truck certification.
· Minimum 2 year of experience operating turret, forklifts and/or reach trucks (cold storage preferred).
· Comfortable working in cold/freezer conditions for extended periods.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
· Basic computer or RF scanner experience.
· Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
· Experience in food distribution or cold storage warehouse.
· Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory systems.
· Experience with high-rack systems.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
· Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift.
· Exposure to cold temperatures and freezer environments.
· Use of PPE such as freezer suits, gloves, safety shoes, and hard hats.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
