Lyons is a growing design-build- maintain landscape firm in Kamloops, BC, (serving BC's Interior and Okanagan) where the work is real, the seasons are long, and the mountains are 20 minutes from your office. We're hiring a Senior Landscape Estimator to lead client meetings, build accurate estimates on residential and commercial projects, and partner with our crews to make sure what's quoted is what gets built.
What the role actually looks like:
- Running site visits and consultations with homeowners, contractors, and commercial clients
- Producing detailed estimates on hardscape and softscape installs- retaining walls, pavers, drainage, planting, grading, the full scope
- Working alongside our designers, project managers, and field crews so projects start strong and finish profitably
- Mentoring junior estimators as the team grows
Who we're looking for:
- 10+ years estimating landscape construction, with real residential and commercial depth
- Comfortable in a client-facing role- quoting is half the job, conversations are the other half
- Sharp on hardscape and softscape installation methods (so you can defend your numbers when it matters)
- Proficient with LMN (or quick to learn it), plus the usual Microsoft tools
- Valid driver's license
