Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial and institutional settings. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall cleanliness standards of our facilities and providing a healthy environment for all occupants. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude toward work responsibilities
