PM Signs is one of Western Canada's leading custom signage companies. We design, manufacture and install all types of exterior and interior signage for businesses in North America.
Working in our manufacturing department you will help facilitate the day to day needs of signage production while learning about various sign types and processes. Your ability to work with a team and attention to detail must be impeccable as you learn the skills required to work in the graphics department.
We are looking for a candidate who....
- Has a great attitude and is ready to learn new skills in a high paced and creative environment
- Will follow all company policies and procedures
- Has a minimum of a high school diploma and post secondary Graphics/Design education
- Has excellent verbal, written communication and comprehension skills
- Has knowledge of PC based vector file software - Adobe Illustrator / Corel Draw / Enroute and similar
- Can create pre-production files for cutting in the CNC, vinyl plotter and large format printer
- Is able to follow written or verbal instruction and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Has vinyl experience – 3m certified and/or experienced in signs/decals/vehicle industry
- Has problem solving skills, efficient, organized and values Cleanliness
- Is team orientated - works well with others – personable( Applicant will have to work onsite with clients and will need to represent company in a positive and professional manner )
- Has computer experience with Cutting software /CNC or similar
- Responsible for finishing tasks such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of components
- Work in various department as needed and willingness to learn new skills
- Is dependable, reliable and takes pride in their work
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, welding or carpentry is an asset
