Cashier and point of sale, debit machine usage on a weekly basis.
Garden Centre salesperson, helping customers pick-out plants, plant knowledge is an asset. Showing customers where particular plants are located, sometimes assistance with loading plants into vehicles will be required.
Daily routine of organizing plants, signage and some watering and trimming of plants.
Ability to communicate efficiently with all team members in a fast paced environment.
Positive, friendly , helpful attitude exhibited at ALL TIMES to all customers.
If you enjoy helping customers, working outdoors, selling plant material and what goes along with it and you have some basic knowledge of plants this might be for you.
Some heavy repetitive lifting will be required.
We will train in all aspects of horticulture sales.
This job does open up into other areas long-term sales, managerial positions etc.
The follwing criteria must be met,
-The ability to work Saturdays or Sundays or both. Weekends availibilty needed especially durng spring season.
-Must be able to work at least 4 days per week.
-Can tolerate working outdoors all summer long.
-Able to do some heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.
-Have personal skills and enjoy helping people.
-Willingness to learn.
-Able to work until November 1st
