Lawn Care Technician
Lawn 'N' Order Custom Landscapes is looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our Property Maintenance Division. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality work, and want to be part of a professional team, we'd like to hear from you.
This is a full-time seasonal position with the opportunity for year-round employment through our winter snow removal operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and residential lawn mowing using zero-turn and walk-behind mowers
- Trim around trees, fences, buildings, and landscape features
- Blow off sidewalks, driveways, patios, and parking lots after each service
- Complete weekly lawn maintenance routes efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Perform garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, edging, hedge trimming, and seasonal cleanups as required
- Assist with fertilizer and weed control applications (training provided where applicable)
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and trailers
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Represent Lawn 'N' Order professionally while interacting with customers on-site
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist with winter snow removal operations during the off-season, including early morning, overnight, and weekend snow events
Requirements
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, or property maintenance experience is an asset but not required
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is considered an asset
- Ability to safely operate commercial lawn maintenance equipment or willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50–80 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to work for an 8:00 AM Monday–Friday start
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM start
- Overtime available during peak season
- Weekend work only when required to catch up due to weather or during snow events
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
