We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for the automotive industry. The candidate must have previous experience.
Wages will be based off of previous experience.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport.
- Assess customer needs by listening carefully and asking relevant questions about their vehicle issues.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to enhance customer understanding.
- Process service orders and manage cash handling efficiently.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a service environment is a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
- A background as a mechanic or in automotive repair is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
