Railyard Brewing is excited to add to our dynamic team. We are in search of a hardworking Kitchen Manager, who can be trusted with overseeing the kitchen operations. This individual will ensure smooth and efficient running of the kitchen and maintain high-quality food standards. They will ensure recipes are followed and timelines are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Assist in achieving forecasted food & labor costs
· Ability to work independently and reach accurate deadlines.
· Ability to follow food preparation and service guidelines in a timely manner
· Ensure guest satisfaction by adhering to presentation guidelines and any dietary requirements
· Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of equipment by working in coordination with outlined daily cleaning tasks
· Follow the required AHS guidelines to ensure the proper handling and storage of food
· Able to manage food par stocks ensuring that food orders are placed thus maintaining an adequately stocked kitchen
· Ensuring quality control of food
· Menu development
· Control food waste, loss and usage
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management position required
· Food handling certificate
· Ability to communicate and multitask effectively
· Dedicated, dependable & motivated
· Complete understanding and implementation of all AHS regulations
· Punctual and reliable attendance
· Able to work quickly, problem solve and think on your feet while maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment
· Positive attitude, personable, and customer service oriented
· Passion for the service industry, desire to be part of a team and work hard
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs
