We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team and execute at a high level during service. If you take pride in consistency, speed, and quality — and can handle the heat — we’d love to have you join the flock.
Job Responsibilities:
Food Execution: Prepare and cook menu items to Mad Bird’s standards, following exact recipes, procedures, and plating guidelines.
Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service.
Quality Control: Ensure consistency in every item — from proper breading to fry times, seasoning, and presentation.
Speed & Efficiency: Work with urgency during peak hours while maintaining accuracy and food quality.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with prep, restocking, and thorough station cleaning at the start and end of each shift.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or food service experience required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team player with good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
