Ganaraska Child Care Centre is seeking passionate, dedicated, and caring Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and Educational Assistants (EAs) to join our team. With two locations in Port Hope, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programs and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Observe and support children's growth, development, and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with families and team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Support children's self-regulation, independence, and overall success within the program.
Qualifications
For RECE Applicants:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Knowledge of child development, How Does Learning Happen?, and Ontario child care licensing requirements.
For Educational Assistant Applicants:
- Educational Assistant diploma or related education/experience working with children is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting children in a child care, educational, or community setting is preferred.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Knowledge of child development, How Does Learning Happen?, and Ontario child care licensing requirements.
For All Applicants:
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
