Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tow or a Manual Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks for transporting materials across construction sites, mining operations, or industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other bulk items to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts if necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Perform minor repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and heavy equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with site managers or supervisors to schedule deliveries and pickups.
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating dump trucks in various environments.
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading tasks.
- Familiarity with freight handling and heavy equipment operation.
- Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance standards.

Pay: $25.00-$33.31 per hour
