iKids Montessori Academy is looking for an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to work full-time in our blended Emergent/Montessori Infant classroom. Early Childhood Educators at iKids Montessori Academy play an important role in providing care for all children in collaboration with Early Childhood Assistants. Working collaboratively with ECA's, RECE's lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education diploma
- Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Clear vulnerable sector screening-dated within the last 6 months- or willing to obtain
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Up-to-date Immunization record and 2 step TB test
- Previous experience in a childcare centre/school
- Good English written and oral communication
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Excellent Leadership and organization skills
- Knowledge in Montessori not required, but an asset
- Knowledge of other languages not required, but an asset
