Maintenance Worker / General Labourer
Home Hardware Lloydminster is looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Worker / General Labourer to help keep our store and property clean, safe, and well-maintained year-round.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
Responsibilities
- Snow removal and ice control during winter months
- Lawn mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Property clean-up, garbage collection, and litter removal
- Store cleaning and maintenance duties
- Assisting with store projects, renovations, and repairs
- Assembling merchandise and display items
- Assisting customers and staff with carry-outs and loading purchases
- Moving merchandise, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Performing miscellaneous maintenance and odd jobs around the store
- Supporting various departments with operational needs
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is an asset
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous maintenance, landscaping, custodial, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
