BayVETS Urgent Care is a growing after-hours veterinary urgent care clinic serving Collingwood and the surrounding region. We bridge the gap between daytime general practice and busy emergency hospitals, providing timely, compassionate care when pets need it most.
We are currently seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and Veterinary Assistants (VAs) to join our team on a flexible full-time, part-time, or casual basis.

Our Hours
Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Weekends & Holidays: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

About the Hospital
BayVETS Urgent Care provides comprehensive urgent and emergency veterinary services, including:
- In-house laboratory diagnostics
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy
- Emergency and urgent medical care
- Select surgical procedures
Most patients are treated on an outpatient basis, allowing us to provide efficient care while minimizing unnecessary hospitalization. For patients requiring overnight monitoring or advanced referral services, we work closely with local emergency and specialty hospitals to ensure continuity of care.
Who We're Looking For

- Are committed to providing compassionate patient care
Registered Veterinary Technicians
- Registration in good standing with the OAVT (or eligible for registration)
- Experience in anesthesia, patient monitoring, emergency triage, laboratory procedures, and client communication is an asset
Veterinary Assistants
- Previous veterinary clinic experience preferred
- Strong animal handling, organizational, and communication skills
