Job Title: Kit Assembler
This position is primarily responsible for the assembly and preparation of Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems and related components as complete kits for shipment to company branches and customers. Working from prepared assembly instructions, the employee gathers, prepares, assembles, inspects, and stages materials to ensure kits are complete, accurate, and ready for shipment.
In addition to kit assembly responsibilities, this position provides support to shipping and receiving operations, including receiving materials, stocking inventory, picking and staging orders, verifying shipments, and assisting with loading activities. The role requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, organizational skills, and adherence to established procedures to maintain efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Forklift experience required; certification is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read a standard tape measure and perform basic measurements.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Basic shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
