Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Exterior Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across various commercial and residential facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, excellent customer service, and efficient time management are essential. The position requires physical stamina, including heavy lifting, and the ability to utilize various tools and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks efficiently
- Conduct facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep
- Operate cleaning machinery such as window cleaning RO/DI filter, water fed, Pressure washer, water hose and other power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure all areas and windows are well wash and meet health and safety standards
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members to address specific cleaning needs or concerns
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial or residential exterior/interior cleaning or custodial services preferred; facilities maintenance experience is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for moving supplies or equipment
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Valid Class 5 driver license with clear abstract history of at least 3 years
Pay: $16.26-$28.73 per hour
