Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of renovation, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and finishing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial renovations, utilizing a wide range of construction skills and tools. The Renovator will be responsible for executing renovation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and framing.
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to meet project specifications.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical installations or repairs as required by the project scope.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and restoration techniques to improve or restore structures.
- Estimate construction costs and materials needed for projects accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each phase of the renovation process.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for various construction tasks.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, and concrete finishing.
- Experience with construction estimating and project planning.
- Ability to perform construction painting, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet installation, and caulking.
- Familiarity with restoration techniques and demolition processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise craftsmanship.
- Good physical stamina to handle demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
