Job Description
We're looking for reliable, hardworking Event Staff to help events run smoothly. Team members will assist with setup, event support, and teardown for weddings, social events, and corporate workshops/functions. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, and are comfortable with hands-on tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and teardown
- Move furniture, décor, and event materials
- Prepare event spaces before guest arrival
- Support venue operations during events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of venue spaces
- Provide professional and friendly guest assistance when needed
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with room flips and layout changes between events
- Work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and clients
Qualifications Required:
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible event-based shifts
- Ability to lift, move, and carry event materials when required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, catering, banquet, restaurants, or customer service
Preferred (Asset):
- Experience with event setup/teardown
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of health & safety best practices
- SmartServe Certificate
