We are hiring a Technical Print & Converting Operator to run advanced digital press and laser finishing equipment in our Winnipeg facility.
This is a skilled equipment operator role — not a general labour position.
What You’ll Do
Digital Press Operation (High-Speed Narrow Web – up to 330 ft/min)
- Operate and maintain a roll-to-roll digital press (experience an asset)
- Perform light pre-press tasks (file checks, nesting, layout verification)
- Run test prints and manage colour accuracy (Delta E monitoring)
- Monitor print quality and make real-time adjustments
- Minimize waste and optimize production efficiency
- Complete daily, weekly, and scheduled equipment maintenance
Laser Finishing & Converting
- Operate roll-to-roll laser finishing equipment (multi-laser system)
- Over-laminate, laser cut, weed, and pre-mask labels
- Finish into rolls, sheets, or individual labels
- Perform in-process quality control checks
Production & Quality
- Maintain a clean, organized production space
- Meet or exceed production deadlines
- Take ownership of quality from file to finished product
- Support continuous improvement and waste reduction
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating digital print, flexo, or converting equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience with colour management is an asset
- Salesforce experience is an asset
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (material rolls)
- Label or narrow web experience is an asset
