Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team for Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm(end time varies depending on hotel occupancy). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a commitment to high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping,cleaning bathrooms
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations throughout the hotel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
