Imagination Station is a non-franchised, private daycare operating in the Ottawa –South since 2004. The daycare provides programs and care for both toddler and pre-school children.

Job Requirements
· Must be 18 years of age
· Registered Early Childhood Educator or in ECE program
· Police check for Vulnerable Sector
· Immunizations up-to-date
· CPR and First Aid Level C

Some of the duties as an early childhood educator are:
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
- Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
- Lead children in activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials and demonstrating their use.
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
- Be aware of the skills, abilities, interests and needs of children.
- Discuss progress or problems of children with parents and other staff members.
- Attend meetings to discuss program matters.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Maintain the classroom clean and tidy.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
