Overview
Stone Eagle Winery is seeking polished, professional, and guest-focused individuals to join our Seasonal Event Service Team for the peak event season (May through October).
This is a casual, on-call position supporting weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, and estate events throughout the season. Team members are scheduled based on confirmed event bookings and business needs.
We are currently hiring:
- Event Porters / Event Support
As part of the Events team, you will play an essential role in delivering seamless, memorable experiences that reflect Stone Eagle Winery’s commitment to excellence and elevated hospitality.
Event Porters / Support
- Assist with equipment movement, room flips, furniture setup, and breakdown.
- Support service staff with clearing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Ensure back-of-house and event spaces remain organized and safe.
- Assist with full event teardown, ensuring spaces are left clean and orderly.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup including tables, linens, place settings, bar stations, staging areas, and service stations.
- Ensure event spaces are prepared to brand and service standards.
- Work closely with Event Leads, Supervisors, Culinary, and Hospitality teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Support smooth event transitions including course timing and room resets.
- Uphold Stone Eagle Winery’s service standards through polished appearance, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the success of each event.
Qualifications
- Previous banquet, serving, bartending, or event experience.
- Smart Serve Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items as required.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the May-October season.
This is a part-time position with hours that vary according to the event schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour

- Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
