Kalawsky GM seeking an Automotive Product Advisor as we expand our sales and customer-service team. This full-time role is located in Castlegar, BC, in the West Kootenays. We prefer a candidate with some experience in sales or customer service, who is interested in the automotive industry and enjoys working with customers. We will provide extensive training and support to help ensure your success. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn, try new things, and provide offer a high-level of customer service. If you have these traits, then we will help you with the other aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
- Be the vehicle expert. Study and understand our product offerings, optional packages and the latest vehicle technology.
- Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of pre-owned vehicles.
- Follow-up with purchasers to ensure referral business.
- Learn to thrive in sales situations.
- Report to the sales manager regarding your sales leads, objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Qualifications
- Sales and/or customer-service experience.
- Able to work flexible hours and Saturdays.
- Ready to learn new product and technology.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to become a licensed salesperson in B.C., which involves a criminal-record check.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Clean driving record.
