Clarke Consulting Company is a privately owned business. We have been in business for 9 years. We help companies that are not looking to hire a full-time or in house bookkeeper. We provide full bookkeeping services, such as monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, manage and process all accounts payables and receivables, payroll, assist with financial reporting and cash flow, remit taxes, and year-end tax preparations for tax consultants. We strive to provide accuracy and precision when it comes to our clients’ books. Our objective is to keep our clients’ books updated on a monthly basis for precise financial reporting. Clarke Consulting Company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to help assist with basic bookkeeping processing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online and comfortable to work efficiently and professionally at their home with absolute confidentiality with the information provided to them. Our goal is to grow in the near future by acquiring new clients in need of an external bookkeeper with the help of an additional bookkeeper working alongside Clarke Consulting Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all account’s payables, including vendor invoices and receiving payments
- Prepare monthly bank, and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with invoicing and sending invoices to clients
- Assist with recognizing and implementing process improvements in accounting operations
- Assist with Chart of Accounts maintenance
- Assist with organization challenges with clients
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and excellent time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience and knowledge of managing month-end & year-end practices
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online
- Minimum 3-5 years experience with Bookkeeping services
- Passion to contribute and support a small company grow
- Diploma in accounting or related field preferred
