Coast Utility Contracting Ltd has more than 30 years of experience in excavation and civil construction. We are a locally owned and operated business providing utility construction services across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
We are excited to announce that we are hiring a full-time, permanent Labourer to commence work on current and upcoming projects in the Greater Victoria area. Coast is looking for an experienced, highly dependable Labourer who will be responsible for:
- Setting up, organizing, and maintaining the job site,
- Assisting with excavation and compaction,
- Leveling earth and groundworks,
- Operating specialty tools and equipment, and
- Following safe work practices, company policies, and direction of supervisors.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum one year experience in construction,
- High school diploma,
- Valid driver’s license,
- Traffic control certification an asset,
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce work of high-quality and accuracy,
- Unwavering commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct, and
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
