Our Philosophy
“Wahkohtowin” to create a safe, holistic and community-based healing home that promotes kindness, compassion and understanding, while working to reunite families.
Who We Are
Geoffery's Garden is a not-for-profit, registered charity based in Winnipeg, MB. We are a family-focused, supportive housing initiative for parents involved in Child and Family Services. We work within the community and use a collaborative approach.
Our intention is to be a resource for parents and bridge the gap between social and cultural barriers in healing and reunification. We do this by bringing parents into contact with people and programs that meet their specific needs. In addition to providing a safe, supportive, and family friendly environment, Geoffery’s Garden offers an environment free of drugs and alcohol. Parents are expected to remain completely free from all mind-altering substances and all parents are randomly/weekly drug screened.
