Universal Moulding Ltd. has been manufacturing in Port Coquitlam since 1973. We're expanding our Casual Relief Team to help cover vacations, sick days, and periods of increased production.
This position is ideal for retirees, students, shift workers looking for extra income, or anyone who wants flexible work without committing to a regular schedule.
What You'll Do
- Monitor injection molding machines
- Package finished products
- Perform basic quality inspections
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with general production duties
- Follow established quality and safety procedures
Paid training is provided.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Injection molding or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good English communication skills
Flexible Schedule
This is a casual relief position with no guaranteed minimum hours.
When production coverage is needed due to vacations, sick days, or increased demand, we'll contact qualified members of our relief team. You're free to accept or decline shifts based on your availability.
Shifts may be available on:
- Days: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Afternoons: 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm
- Nights: 11:30 pm – 7:00 am
Additional hours may be available during busy production periods.
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour
