We are a busy retail fabrication and machine shop looking for a Red Seal Journeyman Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful applicant will meet the following requirements:
- 3-5 years fabrication & welding experience.
- Proficiency with Wire Feed Welding (FCAW) - CWB certified preferred but not required. GTAW, Air Carbon Arc Gouging
- Ability to field measure fabrication requirements and provide legible sketches for fabrication.
- Interpret blueprints
- Mechanically inclined - Experience with heavy duty equipment repair.
- Ability to work independently in the shop and in the field.
- Ability to meet tight schedules and be versed in a variety of metal trade skills.
- Experience with overhead crane/general rigging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a retail environment.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Heavy equipment repair (shop and field)
- Structural fabrication (layout, processing, welding)
- General metal repairs
- Basic machining (drilling, tapping, etc.)
- Steel and aluminum welding
- CNC plasma cutting
Candidate will hold a valid drivers license
*Wage will be based on experience.
