Overview:
Ashburn Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team for the remainder of the 2026 Golf Season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a private golf club environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. This is a seasonal position with Ashburn Golf Club in Windsor Junction (near Fall River) and run until October 31, 2026. Preference will be given to those with previous line cook experience who can commit for the entirety of the golf season.
Hourly compensation will be based on experience. Personal transportation is required for this position as there is unfortunately no public transit available in the area at this time. Staff parking is provided.
Shift Overview:
Shifts will range from 11am-3pm starts to 9-11pm finishes. The average shift end is 9:30-10pm. 5-6 shifts per week. Your primary responsibilities on a shift is stocking, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen stations, executing and plating orders, performing daily and scheduled cleaning duties, performing daily closing and shut down duties and occasional prep duties when required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Monitor food quality and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Previous line cook experience in a full-service restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail in the kitchen environment.
