Job Title: Cloud Cost Optimization Engineer

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud Cost Optimization Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will drive cloud efficiency initiatives and improve cost visibility across enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud cost optimization strategies across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
- Support cloud platforms serving banking systems, citizen services applications, OSS/BSS systems, billing systems, and telecom platforms.
- Analyze cloud consumption patterns and identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement rightsizing, reservation, and resource utilization strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to reduce cloud waste.
- Support telecom infrastructure, customer platforms, and 5G environments.
- Develop cloud cost dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Improve financial accountability across cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with governance and cloud financial management standards.
- Support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Cloud Cost Optimization Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
- Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, or telecom services.
- Strong experience with cloud cost optimization methodologies.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience with cloud financial management tooling.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- FinOps certifications preferred.
