Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their culinary skills and ensure excellent service delivery
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that meet customer preferences and industry trends
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork within the culinary team
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in a kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory control and customer service standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and hospitality
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable

Pay: $15.15-$30.00 per hour
