Kitchen Supervisor
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead the day-to-day culinary operations of our Latin-inspired Café & Lounge.
Our concept blends specialty coffee, cocktails, grab-and-go offerings, and Latin-inspired small plates in a fast-paced, community-driven environment. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and passionate about food, hospitality, and team leadership.
As Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining quality, consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency while supporting and developing the kitchen team.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipe and quality standards
- Maintain consistency across grab-and-go items, small plates, and bar bites
- Monitor ticket times and kitchen flow during peak periods
- Support menu execution and seasonal offerings
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented culture
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing staff development
- Delegate tasks and ensure accountability throughout shifts
- Lead by example through professionalism and strong work ethic
Food Safety & Cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Conduct opening and closing checks
- Monitor food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures
Inventory & Prep Management
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering
- Minimize waste and manage food costs
- Ensure prep lists are completed accurately and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages proactively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership kitchen
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
