Senior First Aid Instructor (Full-Time)

Hourly Range: $23.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience level)
Life Start Training Inc. is seeking a motivated, professional, and dependable Senior First Aid Instructor to join our Moncton team, full-time.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating engaging learning experiences for participants. The successful candidate will primarily teach First Aid and CPR courses while also assisting with the daily operations and upkeep of the training centre.

About the Role:
As the Senior Instructor, you’ll:
- Deliver engaging First Aid & Safety courses to participants and corporate groups (Basic First Aid, Intermediate First Aid, CPR/AED, Basic Life Support (BLS/HCP))
- Ensure courses are delivered in alignment with company standard and regulatory requirements
- Create welcoming, inclusive learning environments that build participant confidence and adapt to diverse learning styles and group needs
- Facilitate both public and private on-site training sessions as require
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training facility
- Assist with inventory management and supply restocking
- Ensure training equipment is clean, functional, and properly prepared for classes
- Support overall daily operations of the training centre
- Upload course rosters and complete instructor administrative requirements
- Process participant completions and course records
- Assist with light administrative tasks including: ie. student inquiries, class changes/transfers, participant support, etc.
- Utilize company systems, Gmail, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office tools as required
- Review curriculum and training materials regularly
- Participate in ongoing instructor development and coaching
- Assist with reviewing or providing feedback on training content and program updates when required
- Maintain professionalism and a willingness to grow within the organization
- Travel to other teaching sites in New Brunswick, if required
What You’ll Bring:
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Teaching experience (First Aid experience is an asset but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoys taking initiative and manages details and unexpected situations well
- High comfort level and experience with technology (experience with on-line training databases and digital calendar management considered an asset)
- Proficient with Gmail, Google Documents/Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and navigate internal scheduling and training systems
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends and travel to other teaching sites in New Brunswick, if required
- Ability to lift and move training equipment as required
Assets (Preferred but Not Required):
- Previous experience teaching First Aid or CPR courses
- Current First Aid Instructor certifications
- Experience in healthcare, emergency response, education, or public safety
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Experience working with adult learners
