Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during busy service times.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support catering events by assisting with banquet setup and breakdown as required.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and cleaning processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to providing excellent hospitality.
- Experience in culinary roles or banquet service is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food handling.
